Title IV

OVERVIEW:

TITLE IV aims to support a well-rounded education, enhance student safety and well-being, and promote the effective use of technology in schools.

Part A, the Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Grants, provides funding to improve students' academic achievement by expanding access to a diverse curriculum, including advanced coursework in STEM, the arts, and foreign languages. It also supports initiatives that promote school safety, mental health services, and physical well-being. Additionally, Part A encourages the integration of technology to enhance learning and digital literacy.

Part B, the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), focuses on providing academic enrichment during out-of-school hours, such as after-school programs and summer learning opportunities, to help improve student achievement in a safe and supportive environment. Together, these initiatives aim to foster holistic educational experiences, improve school climates, and prepare students for success in college, careers, and life.
