Welcome to the Marshall County Transportation Department
Safety is our priority while transporting approximately 2,800 students daily. Our School Bus Drivers are professionally trained by the transportation staff and certified by the Alabama State Department of Transportation. They are required to attend a yearly Recertification Class to maintain a current School Bus License. We have six State Certified Technicians keeping our fleet of 83 route buses and 20 spare buses ready to safely transport our students on a daily basis. Monthly Inspections and daily pre-trip inspections are performed on the buses to ensure the safe transport of our students.
Our goal is to aid each student's learning opportunity by transporting them safely and comfortably, while making sure each student arrives at school or home in a timely manner.
