This is my 22nd year in education in Alabama; five years as a 5th grade teacher, nine years as an elementary counselor, six years as a high school counselor, and this is my second year as an administrator. 

I have a Bachelor's degree from Florida State University, a Masters degree in Elementary Education and School Counseling from the University of Alabama, and an Educational Leadership degree from University of West Alabama. 

I have been married to Henry Brown for 36 years. We have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter.
